Tara: How are you feeling, Ricky?

Richard: My head hurts.

​

Tara: You must have fainted when you went to put out the campfire last night because me and Genevieve found you face-first on the ground. We had to carry you to the bedroll.

​

Richard: I had another one of those experiences. This time I saw what looked like Felicia and the rest of the world burning to ash. I also saw what looked like a figure with wings flying towards me through the flames. As the figure got closer, everything began to go dark, and then I woke up.

​

Tara: Okay Ricky, just stay there in bed. I need to get you some water.

​

Richard: Hey! Come back here!

Tara: Ricky, please wake up!

​

Richard: Tara.

​

Tara: Are you alright? I was trying to talk to you, but when you weren't responding, I realized that you were unconscious.

​

Richard: I think I'm okay. I had another one of those experiences again. I was drifting through space and time, and then I saw this light. I started drifting towards it. Once I got closer to the light, I began to hear two voices that sounded like me and you talking.

​

Tara: I wonder why you keep having these experiences.

​

Richard: I wish I knew.

​

Tara: Well, I'm glad that you are okay. You stay in bed, and I'll go get you some water.

​

Richard: Thanks, Tara. I love you.

​

Tara: I love you too, Ricky.

Tara: You came at the right time, Genevieve.

​

Genevieve: I was getting worried because you and Richard were taking a long time, so I came into the cave to come looking for you guys. I then heard you screaming, so I ran as fast as I could towards your voice.

 

Tara: He's severely wounded. We have to get him out of here fast and tend to his wounds.

 

Genevieve: Alright, you grab his arms and I'll grab his legs. That spear I stuck into that enormous crocodile's eye should buy us some time to escape.

Tara: Ricky, are you alright? You fainted.

​

Richard: Yeah, I'm fine.

​

Genevieve: Are you sure? This is the second time now.

​

Richard: Yeah, I'm good.

​

Tara: The second time?

​

Richard: Yeah, I kinda fainted on that night when we placed the torches in the interior and exterior of the castle. Genevieve found me lying on the ground after she got back from her hunt.

​

Tara: Well, that's not good...

​

Richard: We'll talk about it later. Let's just get back to Felicia.

​

Genevieve: Are you alright, Richard?

 

Richard: Yeah, I'm fine. I was looking at the stars and for some reason, I fainted. That's why I'm lying on the ground right now.

​

Genevieve: Here, let me help you up.

​

Richard: Thanks. How was your hunt for giant turtles?

​

Genevieve: It went well. I slew a few of the beasts and brought home some extra hide. It was also nice to get some combat practice in with the spear you made me.

​

Richard: Good to hear, Genevieve.

Tara: Are you alright, Ricky? You zoned out for a bit.

​

Richard: Yeah, I'm fine. I just had a flashback from when we entered the portal.

​

Tara: Oh!?

​

Richard: I remembered a little more about what the voice said, but let's save this for another time. We need to head back to Felicia.

Tara: We're in a different time and place, Ricky. It's going to take a while to fully adapt to our new surroundings.

​

Richard: Yeah, it is.

 

Tara: As difficult as things are, we're only going to get stronger as we further learn to survive here.

 

Richard: And you're right, Tara. Like you said, as long as we have each other, we'll make it.

 

Tara: We'll make it, together.

Tara: What's on your mind, Ricky?

 

Richard: I'm just thinking about what the voice said. You know, how it told us about that place called the world of the present. Doesn't the present mean the things that are happening now? If not, what the hell does it mean?

​

Tara: It's a lot to grasp onto, Ricky. I'm just as lost as you. One day we're in Willow Creek 1994, and a moment later we're here in this future world.

​

Richard: I don't know, Tara. Maybe one day we'll find some answers. What matters though is that we have each other.

​

Tara: As long as we have each other, we will make it. I love you, Ricky.

​

Richard: I love you too, Tara.

Richard: So, we'll continue exploring the same path for a while more, and then we better head back to Felicia. I don't think it's a good idea to travel too far away from our home, at least not yet.

 

Tara: You're starting to call Felicia home now too.

 

Richard: Yeah, I guess I'm just starting to get used to our new reality. I do still hope that one day we'll be able to find a way back to Willow Creek 1994 though.

 

Tara: What is the first thing you want to do if we ever do find a way back?

 

Richard: The first thing I would do is kiss you, and then I would give you a hug and never let go.

Tara: You're such a sweetheart, Ricky.

Tara: If time really did bring us to this future world from a world of the past, I wonder if it could also bring us to that place called the world of the present.

​

Richard: I don't know, Tara. I'm not sure if I'd ever want to go there either...

Richard: I managed to get the phone to switch from image to video capturing. I got the whole fight on video, Tara.

 

Tara: Nice, I'll have to watch it later. I think it would be interesting to see how well I fought.

 

Richard: The phone is still broadcasting everything. It really does just make me wonder where the data is going. I tried checking my social media accounts, but the web doesn't even seem to exist. The phone is just storing and sending out data including sending our conversations as text.

​

Tara: If this really is the future, I wonder how far into it we are.

 

Richard: Yeah, who knows. I'm just hoping that we can eventually find a way back to Willow Creek. Well, I guess Willow Creek in the past.
