The Ruins of British Columbia Conversation Log

Richard: I want to thank all of you for being me and Tara's friends and always being there for us.

Genevieve: We'll always be best friends, Richard. We've had so many good times hanging out together. Please be careful.

Stephon: Bros and drinking buddies for life, Richard. Kick that demon's ass, and when you and Tara return, we can celebrate with good booze!

Harper: It's an honor to be your friend, Richard. I wish you and Tara a safe journey, and I am confident that you two will prevail and defeat the demon.

Tara: Just like Ricky said, thank you for being our friends and always being there for us in the most difficult of times. I'll miss all of you, and I hope that we'll all see each other again soon.

Genevieve: We'll miss you and Richard too, Tara. Please take care of him. I wouldn't want anything to happen to my best friend, and of course, you as well, Tara.

Stephon: You look after my brother, Tara. You take care of him and yourself.

Harper: You've grown strong, Tara. You are the ultimate weapon against the demons. You are a demon slayer. Master your gift, and you and Richard will see an end to the demons. My prayers and blessings are with both of you.

Richard: Goodbye, everyone.

Tara: Farewell, friends. Please look after Tigger while we're gone.

0660a - The Sanctuary

Harper: Unfortunately, we're in no better situation, especially you, Richard. Just like the British Columbia we are in now, whatever happens in that other dimension of British Columbia could affect the past, present, and future which could have grave consequences.

Tara: What should we do?

Harper: You two will have to defeat the demon before it puts an end to both of you and destroys British Columbia. I will create a portal that will bring you to the dimension of British Columbia where the demon now resides.

Richard: How are we supposed to defeat something so colossal and powerful? It just seems hopeless.

Harper: Tara is a demon slayer. She has the gift to put an end to any demon. She will have to learn how to master her gift, and you will have to help her.

Tara: Well, let's get going then. We have no time to waste.

Harper: I will create a portal immediately. Let's go to the second floor of the sanctuary.

0659b - The Sanctuary

Richard: How are you feeling, Harper?

Harper: After that nice long sleep, I'm feeling much better. Creating such a large and powerful black hole to pull that demon through it completely drained me. Thank you for lending me your strength to help me finish the black hole.

Richard: No need to thank me, Harper. If it weren't for you, I don't think any of us would be here right now.

Tara: You saved us and British Columbia, Harper.

Harper: Sadly, it's not over yet. Pulling that demon into a black hole was only a temporary solution.

0659a - The Sanctuary

Richard: I just had another vision. It was about that demon, the one as tall as the sky that holds a sword of fire. It was burning British Columbia to ash. It's coming for me, Tara. You heard Harper. She said that the demons won't stop following me until they either kill me or we defeat them. I really do fear that the demonic apocalypse is near.

Tara: No matter how bad things may get, we'll survive, Ricky. We'll put an end to the demons.

Richard: I hope so...

Tara: We will, Ricky!

Richard: Okay, we will! We will survive and put an end to the demons.

Tara: That's better!

0637a - British Columbia

Tara: Ricky, snap out of it!

Richard: Sorry, babe. I just had a terrible vision. I think it was trying to tell me that the demonic apocalypse is near.

Tara: That is concerning.

Richard: Yeah, it is. We're not prepared for this...

0611a - British Columbia

Richard: I just had another vision. It was about Vernon. I saw the moments when a lot of the victims of the falling stars were rising from the dead and being turned into undead minion slaves by some greater power.

Tara: I wonder what that greater power is. Since we're near the ruins of Vernon, maybe we should enter the ruined city and investigate.

Richard: Yeah, I think we should make an attempt. Maybe we'll be able to find a way to grant peace to the victims of the falling stars who were turned into undead minions.

Tara: What do you think, Genevieve?

Genevieve: This is all new to me, but I'm totally up for an adventure.

0604a - British Columbia

Tara: Snap out of it, Ricky!

Richard: I'm fine, babe.

Tara: Did you have another vision?

Richard: Yeah, I did. I think we might have a bigger problem than the demons. I saw a horrible-looking creature, a creature from the worst of nightmares. It had glowing eyes, a large mouth with sharp teeth, and lots of tentacles. It's lurking somewhere here in British Columbia.

Tara: A creature of horror and nightmares.

Richard: Yeah, and this is what we're up against. The dead creature on this ship is only one of many different types of these creatures of horror.

0503a - Rocky Point Shore

Tara: Ricky, we're still here. We're also back where we were a few hours ago. I really thought that the wolf was going to be the end of us.

Richard: So did I, but it looks like I was able to use the gift of time and reverse time at the last moment. Did you notice something different about that wolf?

Tara: I did. It was larger than the other wolves we encountered. It also had fiery eyes. I could sense so much darkness around it. I suspect that it was a wolf that was corrupted by the demons.

Richard: That's what I think as well. While I was fighting back against death, I saw that same demon. It was the one that gets inside of your mind. Once again, it was telling me that I was going to die. I think the demon corrupted the wolf and used it to attack us with demonic force to try and kill us.

0446a - British Columbia

Tara: Are you okay, Ricky?

Richard: Yeah, I'm fine. The fucking demon got into my mind again. What just happened though?! The demon and the vortex just got pulled through what looked like a black hole.

Tara: I don't know, but I think something or someone may have created that black hole to intervene.

0388a - British Columbia

Richard: Thanks, babe. That demon was pretty close to slashing me up with its claws. Also, nice shot with that bow. You knocked it right off the cliff!

Tara: Thank you, Ricky. You looked like you were stuck in a trance, and I saw the demon moving towards you. So, I acted as quickly as possible.

Richard: Yeah, it was inside of my mind. I think the demons that we've encountered here so far may be the minions of a greater demon. The greater demon uses them to get into my mind.

Tara: That would explain why you were in a trance, but based on our previous encounters with these demons and what you've told me, I kind of figured it was doing something to your mind.

Richard: Yeah, it was filling my mind with hopelessness. It was also trying to show me a vision. I saw lots of fire and heard the steps of something so massive approaching that it sounded like earthquakes. The vision was interrupted when I managed to break free from the demon's grasp on my mind.

Tara: It sounds like it was trying to show you the demon of the apocalypse that you told me about.

Richard: Yeah, the demon as tall as the sky that holds a sword of fire...

0349a - British Columbia

Richard: That demon got inside of my head again, but I fought back and was able to expel it for now.

Tara: Keep up the good fight, Ricky. We'll find a way to permanently stop these demons.

Richard: Yeah, I hope so. The one that gets into your head is the least of my concerns though. It's the one as tall as the sky that holds the sword of fire that was burning British Columbia to ash that I'm most worried about.

Tara: Once it shows itself, we'll find a way to stop that one too. We will get rid of all of the demons.

0324a - British Columbia

Tara: What's wrong, Ricky? I heard you cursing.

Richard: Nothing, I'm fine, babe. Don't worry about it.

Tara: Are you sure?

Richard: Yeah, I'm good.

Tara: Well, I'm here if you want to talk.

0306a - British Columbia

Tara: Ricky, wake up!

Richard: Damn, this is really becoming too much.

Tara: Are you okay? You were breathing pretty heavily in your sleep. Did you have another troubling vision?

Richard: Yeah, I did. It was a vision from the night of the falling stars. They came crashing down on Rocky Point Shore. Everything was getting annihilated. People were screaming and trying to run for their lives, but the falling stars were crushing and burning them. It was a horrible vision of what happened that night.

Tara: That is so awful. Those poor people.

Richard: This was only Rocky Point Shore. I don't even want to think about how badly Chilliwack got hit with the falling stars.

0300a

Tara: Ricky, are you okay? You must have had another disturbing vision.

Richard: It was a horrible vision. I saw a demon as tall as the clouds. It held a sword of fire. It was burning British Columbia to ash.

Tara: That does sound awful, Ricky.

Richard: British Columbia already suffered the calamity of the falling stars, but I think there is more to come, something worse, and I think the recent demon visions I've been having are very telling.

Tara: First, the falling stars, and then next, demons. What's going to be left of our beautiful British Columbia?

Richard: The falling stars already brought British Columbia to ruins. It's dark and disturbing, but I think what's coming next is meant to be the end. When I say the end, I think you know what I mean. I think it's safe to say that we are now living in The Keeper of Time's warning.

0296a - British Columbia

Tara: Ricky, wake up!

Richard: I'm in so much pain.

Tara: We have to get out of here before it comes back.

Richard: Where did it go?

Tara: I'll explain everything later, but we need to go. Right now!
